Khvostov written in 1806, dedicated to Turukhansk and the Turukhansk uyezd, is published. The text reflects the Governor\u2019s impressions of his visit to Turukhansk in 1805 The author provides statistical information about the state of the city and the surrounding area, describes the living conditions and economic activities of the local both Russian and aboriginal population, characterizes the problems of management and development of this vast Northern region. The document is interesting because it reveals the methods of work and views of one of the most active representatives of the Siberian administration of the turn of the 18th-19th centuries, visually demonstrates the difficulties of incorporation of the Siberian North into the Russian Empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> Vasiliy S.
