In the context of a new technological reality and the formation of new social values, young people find a \u00abfulcrum\u00bb in the political myth and find their active subjectivity and political identity. At the same time, the youth political myth is increasingly transformed into a cultural phenomenon, and youth activism is \u00abdrifting\u00bb from the political sphere to the cultural one. However, in modern cultural studies, it is still quite rare to find attempts to analyze the content of the political myth in youth culture and its influence on the political preferences of young people. This raises questions that require concrete and scientifically based answers. In what direction are the political preferences and values of modern Russian youth being transformed today? How does the mythological nature of youth culture affect the political preferences and values of modern young people? Modern socio-cultural conditions increase the relevance of these issues, both in theoretical and practical terms. That is why cultural studies of political and mythological aspects of the content of youth culture through the analysis of political preferences and values of young people are so important today. In this article, based on the material of an empirical study of Krasnoyarsk regional student culture, conducted by the author in february-march 2020, the readers are presented with an analysis of the content of political myth in modern Russian youth culture and its role in the formation of political preferences and values of young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
