Shirokogorov \u00abEthnographic investigation of China<strong>\u00bb<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Porkhachev Ilya Igorevich<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Translator, Krasnoyarsk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> Sergei Mikhailovich Shirokogorov is one of the outstanding Russian researchers, whose contribution to the development of ethnography, ethnology and anthropology is significant and valuable for modern science. His article &#8220;Ethnographic Study of China&#8221; was published in 1942 in English in the journal &#8220;Study of Folklore&#8221; and for a long time remained untranslated into Russian. In 2017, the first translation of the indicated work by Professor A.M. Kuznetsov in the journal &#8220;Izvestia of the Eastern Institute&#8221;. This publication contains the second, author&#8217;s version of the translation of the late work of S.M.
