Inostrantsev as the historical source for the Russian Civil War and World War I<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Ganin Andrei Vladislavovich<sup>1<\/sup><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>1<\/sup>Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The article provides the analysis for the memories of the Military Academy Professor, General M. A. Inostrantsev, who happened to witness and take part in the Russian Civil War and World War I. Apart from describing the personality of the memoir writer, the author analyses the process of Inostrantev`s archive being formed, the history of his memoirs writing, their content and peculiarities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research is sponsored by the Russian Fundamental Research Fund within Project No. 17-81-01022-\u041e\u0413\u041d \u2018the History of the Russian Civil War of 1917-1922 in the Documents of Russian Army Officers\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keywords: <\/strong>M.
