Abstract.<\/strong> The referee report of monography by D. V. Skazhutin \u00abDevelopment of nursing care in Transbaikalia: 1900- 1905\u00bb considers the insufficiently studied topic of the Red Cross Society establishment and development on the territory of Siberia. According to the referee, the author of the monography has contributed greatly to the historiography of the Transbaikal region, specifically in the issue of establishing public institutions and developing public initiative. The research is valued through its documentation status, the author introduces many unknown facts into the scientific discourse with the ground on the rich archive materials (documents, inventories, diaries, photographs, etc.), discloses insufficiently studied history pages through 1900 to 1905 when the military events on the territory of north-eastern China changed the life of the adjacent Transbaikal region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
