The space theme is most clearly manifested in the fantasy genre and is extremely popular with the general public. Science fiction works in simple language and vivid images draw the attention of the mass audience to global universal human problems, fix the changing values and norms in society (M. Mkrtycheva). Therefore, they are excellent materials for scientific research. Through the analysis of three works: the film \u00abInterstellar\u00bb by Christopher Nolan (2014), the animated short film \u00abWe Can\u2019t Live Without Space\u00bb by Konstantin Bronzit (2014) and the animated feature film \u00abWALL-E\u00bb by Pixar studio (2008), new aspects of perception were revealed The universe, especially as a mirror reflecting the essence of the beholder in his character. And also identified the key problems of modern society, which make \u00abspace\u00bb again in demand on wide screens. Thanks to the selected works with the masterpiece of cinema \u00ab2001: A Space Odyssey\u00bb by Stanley Kubrick, it was possible to record the change in the image of \u00abspace\u00bb and its perception.
