Abstract.<\/strong> The review examines the main points of the article by Kelly Joyce, Laurel Smith-Doerr, Sharla Alegria, Susan Bell, Taylor Cruz, Tev G. Hoffman, Safia Umoja Noble and Benjamin Shestakofsky \u00abToward a Sociology of Artificial Intelligence: A Call for Research on Inequalities and Structural Change\u00bb, which was published in February 2021 in the journal Socius: Sociological Research for a Dynamic World. The authors of the article believe that it is the sociology of artificial intelligence that is capable of providing tools for detecting invisible forms of social inequality that are initially hidden in algorithms, codes and databases used in artificial intelligence systems. The authors propose a sum of theoretical and methodological tools for the sociological study of social inequality, predetermined by modern artificial intelligence, and formulate a program of modern scientific research that allows sociologists to solve this problem. The authors of the peer-reviewed article proceed from the existence of the ethics of sociologists, who should not only point out the possibility of recreating, repeating and consolidating certain forms of social inequality associated with artificial intelligence technologies, but also point out the necessary structural changes that will help the discovered social inequality to reduce or even completely eliminate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The peer-reviewed article reflects the most current trends in modern sociology of artificial intelligence and is recommended for students, graduate students, scientists and teachers associated with the development of research programs in the field of modern sociology of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Keywords<\/strong>: artificial intelligence, sociological methods, inequality research, social structure<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.
