Abstract. <\/strong>The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities and problems of integrating artificial intelligence (hereinafter referred to as AI) into the higher education system in the context of the digital transformation of society. The paper analyzes the current state of AI use in foreign and Russian pedagogical practice, which demonstrates significant potential for expanding its implementation in the educational process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artificial intelligence today is one of the key factors transforming the educational process. Its use allows us to introduce personalized approaches to learning, develop new pedagogical methods, automate knowledge assessment and optimize the management of educational institutions. These changes not only increase the efficiency of the educational process, but also change the role of the teacher. Instead of the role of a source of knowledge, a modern teacher becomes a moderator, organizing the educational process aimed at developing critical thinking, creativity and soft skills in students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specific AI tools are considered, such as intelligent assistants, proctoring systems, adaptive learning platforms and analytical systems. However, the introduction of AI is accompanied by a number of challenges, including the lack of live feedback, the need for legal regulation and the need to improve the level of digital competence of teachers. In addition, it is important to take into account the ethical aspects associated with the processing of student data and privacy issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, it is emphasized that the integration of AI into higher education is not only an inevitable process, but also a strategically important task. It helps improve the quality of training specialists, adapt to the digital era and create a competitive educational system capable of meeting the challenges of the modern world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
