Abstract. Internet technologies are an integral part of everyday practices of modern people. Digital environment space has become a key space for self-identification in its various aspects, including ethnic ones. In the case of indigenous small-numbered peoples of the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk territory, self-representation of ethnic culture within the online sphere is often the only possible due to geographical conditions, features of traditional economic and commercial activities, etc., in this connection, the importance of online communities dedicated to the culture of the cmns is extremely high. It is through digital platforms of social media that the indigenous peoples of the North have the opportunity to broadcast the values of ethnic groups, declare their problems, create new ideas about themselves, update traditional culture, etc.Ethnically oriented communities of the kmns exist in a small number of relatively more numerous ethno-cultural groups, but this allows us to identify the typology of these communities, their characteristics for ethnic manifestation.
