Abstract. The article analyzes the role of religion in the preservation of the Evenki traditional way of life and its reflection in the education system, traditional culture (on the example of philosophical and art history analysis of works of fine and decorative art, folklore). In addition, a brief overview of the transformation of Evenki religious worldviews from 1930 to the 2000s is presented on the example of the northern territories of the Krasnoyarsk Kraj, as well as the factors, which influenced to these transformations. The article substantiates the appeal to the interdisciplinary type of research in connection with the versatility of the object and subject of the study. As a result, the main methods are: photofixing and analysis of archival documents, expert interviews with native Evenks and specialists in this field, philosophical and art history analysis of Evenk art works of various types and genres, as well as comparative historical and dialectical methods. The article concludes that by the beginning of the 21st century, Evenks had in their own culture remnants of various stages of development of religious beliefs. The current state of embodiment of religious movements in the Evenki culture, education and life indicates the presence of prerequisites for the interpretation of traditional religious cults, taking into account the teachings of the main world religions, where the key ideological message is the maximum harmonization of relations with the environment. At the same time, the authors record the loss of the original sacred meaning by many traditional household items and works of art, which has a significant impact on the Evenki traditional way of life.
