Abstract. The referee report on the monography «Operating personnel of gold mining enterprises in Siberia in the 19th-beginning of the 20th century» by P. P. Rumyantsev considers practically unstudied topic of the Siberian gold mining industry. This monography contributed greatly to the historiography of Siberia. P. P. Rumyantsev introduced into the scientific circulation a large number of archived and published sources having successfully reached the set task on a comprehensive approach to the issue of operating personnel at Siberian gold mines
