THE RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL WORK WITH SUNDAY SCHOOL STUDENTS OF THE KRASNOYARSK DIOCESE OF THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH ON THE TOPIC «DEFINITION OF THE CONCEPT OF “RELIGIOSITY”»

Abstract. This article is a review and analysis of the results of the implementation of the project of the educational task developed for the students of the Sunday school of additional religious education of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese (KE ROC MP). In this research project, the question of the very possibility of correlating the categorical apparatus of secular religious studies and theological discipline in their essential understanding is key. In view of the age, ideological, and socio-cultural characteristics, as well as taking into account the formed system of beliefs and worldview of the test group of students, in order to achieve the goals of the project of the educational task, an ideal-forming approach was determined, the effectiveness of which must be confirmed or refuted. Sunday school students were offered new opportunities to reveal the essential understanding of the religious studies category of “religiosity” through extrapolation, analysis and synthesis of such an ideal of religious culture as the Old Testament character — King David. As a result of testing the educational model, the possibilities of the declared approach were confirmed, and the set goals were achieved. The students formulated personal definitions of the phenomenon, which differ significantly from those previously stated by them. As an educational technology as a method of teaching, implementing the integrity of the educational process, the following was used: perceptual approach (using visual perception of the image of David), logical (data or facts are presented in the order of preceding and following, subject to the structuring of facts, going from the smallest to the most complex).
