Abstract. This article is devoted to researching the possibilities of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into the educational process of higher education in the field of culture and art. The theoretical part examines the methodological foundations of curriculum design, including the approaches by R. Tyler, H. Taba, V. V. Kraevsky, A. V. Khutorsky, and domestic and foreign experience in art pedagogy. The practical part presents the results of experimental work aimed at testing the hypothesis about the influence of generative AI tools on the effectiveness of material assimilation by students of the humanities. As a case study, a class on the topic of ″The Art of Expressionism″ was conducted using the DALL·E and Midjourney models. The results showed an increase in student engagement, development of visual memory, and creative thinking. The study’s conclusions confirm the promise of introducing AI into arts and cultural education, provided that the process is competently supported by the instructor.

Keywords: higher education, artificial intelligence, culture and art, generative models, modern pedagogical technologies.
