Abstract. Contemporary media culture, associated with the development and complication of the socio-technological regime, is determined by new principles of interaction between different narratives and forms of their preservation. One of these principles is transmediality, associated with the use of various media technologies to produce unique versions of local plots. Transmediality is also manifested in the gaming industry, where interaction occurs between board and digital games. A number of projects are associated with the direct transfer of board games to a video game version and vice versa. In this case, the gaming experience is reconstructed by means of other media, which allows for the inclusion of procedural statements in the space of transmedial expansion, rather than more familiar verbal narratives. In other cases, there is an interaction between digital and analog media, allowing for the expansion of the hyperreal space of a video game by means of transmedial narration. Such projects are aimed at complicating the agency of one of the game components using technologies of complementary media.
Keywords: transmediality, video Game, board game, hyperreality.
